Cajicá is a Colombian municipality located in the department of Cundinamarca. It is located in the province of Sabana Centro, the third largest city in the province after Zipaquirá and Chia. Its origin is pre-Columbian, and is located north of Bogota in the road leading to Zipaquirá. Bordered on the north by the town of Zipaquirá; on the south by Chia; on the east by Sopo; and on the west by Tabio. The city is located at an altitude of 2,558 meters and has an average temperature of 14 ° C.
