La Candelaria is the number 17 of the Capital city of Bogotá, Capital District of Colombia.
It lies in the east of the city center of La Candelaria Bogotá.La town formerly called Fuenlabrada Spanish origin. Bogotá is the historical and cultural heart of the city. Since its start in the financial activity of the city and moved down the hill to the north, colonial architecture could not be maintained intact. The historic center of Bogota is one of the best preserved in Latin. Case has attracted artists, foreign writers and treasure hunters in general. Visitors can see there the colonial houses with latticed windows, carved doors, red tile roofs and eaves.
The Mayor of Bogota leads renovation plans and preservation of the properties and monarchical streets, a feature of the town. It was declared a National Monument by Decree 264 of February 12, 1963.
